HR Business Partner – Maternity Cover FTC
£55,000–£65,000 | Lincolnshire | Full Time | Fixed-Term Contract
As HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and managers, helping them get the very best from their people while supporting the wider business strategy.
You’ll be involved in:
- Building strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and managers
- Coaching, supporting and appropriately challenging managers on people matters
- Leading on complex employee relations cases
- Supporting organisational design, workforce planning and business change
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the wider People Plan
- Using HR data and insight to identify trends and provide meaningful recommendations
- Supporting annual workforce and labour budgeting
- Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll processes
- Supporting annual salary reviews, bonus processes, benchmarking and reward activity
- Partnering with managers on recruitment and talent attraction
- Supporting talent reviews, succession planning and development
- Identifying capability gaps and supporting appropriate L&D solutions
- Driving employee engagement and helping create a positive employee experience
- Ensuring HR policies, processes and practices remain compliant and effective
- Leading, coaching and developing an HR Advisor
- Continuously looking for ways to improve HR systems, processes and service delivery
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating at HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist or equivalent level.
You’ll be credible and confident, but equally approachable and pragmatic. You’ll know when to support, when to challenge and how to adapt your style to different stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Significant senior-level generalist HR experience
- Strong UK employment law knowledge
- Experience managing complex employee relations matters
- Confidence partnering with and influencing senior leaders
- Experience supporting organisational change
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn HR data into useful business insight
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to HR
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy operational environment
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to other UK sites when required
CIPD Level 7 or an equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.
Experience gained within a fast-paced operational, manufacturing, food or similarly complex environment would also be beneficial, alongside exposure to payroll, reward, workforce planning or HR systems.
