Ready for a training role that's a little less ordinary?
Love training people but ready for something a bit different?
If you love training but want more variety, challenge and opportunity to develop yourself too, keep reading.
If you're an experienced trainer who can engage a room, make complex subjects easy to understand and genuinely enjoys helping people develop, this could be a brilliant move for you.
We're recruiting a Training Specialist for a highly respected organisation operating within a specialist, safety-critical industry.
This isn't your typical training role.
One week you could be delivering from a professional training centre, the next visiting customers elsewhere in the UK – and from time to time, you could be taking your expertise overseas. You'll be given the opportunity to develop specialist technical knowledge, become a credible expert in your field and play an important part in developing the skills and competence of professionals working across the industry.
What will you actually be doing?
At the heart of the role is delivering engaging, high-quality technical training – but there's plenty more to get involved with.
You'll:
And importantly, you'll be learning too.
You'll receive ongoing technical development and support, giving you the opportunity to build genuine expertise and credibility within a specialist field.
We're much more interested in how good you are at engaging and developing people than finding someone who ticks every box on a job description.
You'll need previous experience delivering training and the confidence to stand in front of a group and own the room.
You'll be a strong communicator who can take complicated information and explain it in a way that makes sense. You'll also be comfortable dealing with people at different levels and adapting your delivery style to suit your audience.
A background in a technical, engineering, inspection, manufacturing, compliance or safety-focused environment would certainly be useful – but it isn't essential.
A recognised training qualification would also be advantageous.
What matters is that you're curious, credible, keen to learn and excited by the idea of developing specialist technical knowledge.
You'll also need a full UK driving licence and be happy to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
What's in it for you?
Alongside the opportunity to build a genuinely interesting career, you'll receive:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer. You'll be able to develop your own expertise, meet people from across the industry, travel, influence how training evolves and build a long-term career within a specialist professional environment.
