Commercial Electrician – Peterborough – £40,000 – 48,000 Van + Overtime

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a well-established, family-orientated electrical and fire solutions business based in Peterborough. Known for delivering high quality work and maintaining long-standing client relationships, the company has built a strong reputation with commercial customers across the region.

This Commercial Electrician role offers the chance to work on varied commercial projects, mainly in the Peterborough area, while being part of a close-knit team that values reliability, professionalism and great customer relationships.

Commercial Electrician’s Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out commercial electrical installations, upgrades and maintenance work
2. Conduct testing, inspection and sign-off of electrical installations
3. Work closely with commercial clients to maintain strong working relationships
4. Support installation and commissioning of lighting and smart lighting systems where required
5. Occasionally support projects in London and out-of-hours corporate work when needed (paid at overtime rates)

Skills & Experience Required as a Commercial Electrician:

1. Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2
2. Experience working within commercial electrical environments
3. Ability to test, inspect and sign off work to a high professional standard
4. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach and team mindset
5. Clean UK driving licence (ex-forces backgrounds welcomed; smart lighting experience such as Lutron or DALI beneficial)
